Well, I was wrong...not peanuts but pecans! Amazing find! We went to the actual Pecan farm. Still family owned and run.
Not only a pecan farm,but cotton as well. (not as wonderful as the King farms in Helena, Arkansas though!!!
We ate our way through the shop..such delicious samples...lunch for me! papa Joe is currently enjoying a pecan log.
And NO I did not allow Papa Joe to buy the straw pith helmet! Holding out for the NASCAR ball cap! I mean, it is RACE WEEK!!!
Now, heading on to the Florida state line. It is 69 degrees! We are anxious to arrive in Daytona and enjoy the weather and roar of the engines! (well one of us is!)
