The stands were pretty empty, and it rained and rained
Every now and then, the dryers made an attempt, to no avail. So when we looked at the forecast for Monday and saw a greater percentage of precipitation was projected than on Sunday, we beat the crowd and headed north. I know, boo.
Just look at the sky and the stands...and this was before they postponed the race. Call us old, but we really did not relish the idea of sitting in the cold rain....
Even the tunnel was wet. So, it was a great race week...let's just hope they get the race in today....doubt it, but here's hoping!
