A day in DC

Today Papa Joe went to the Print show, and I walked all over the city for hours until I met Cole for lunch... Here are some of the sights I saw...

All of the above were around the White House.

This photo troubles me. All around the White House, vendors selling DC souvenirs, made in China, and sold by Asians. Shouldn't American souvenirs be made in America?????

It was a beautiful day here...

I finally made it for Cherry Blossoms!

Great sign, but I could not figure out what the bleachers were being set up for...

Sometimes a logo says it all...... Impressive building

Segway Tours...Cole refused to take one...

Gotta admire the motivation here...

Cole and I walked all over Georgetown and could not believe the line at Georgetown Cupcakes, in the middle of the day in the middle of the week. Have you ever seen the TLC show?

Cole's favorite ice cream...Cherry Garcia...at Ben and Jerry's. We took the Jimmy Fallon, Steven Colbert ice cream challenge...Steven Colbert won according to us...

Cole enjoying his ice cream!

the Reflecting pool under construction..

The Lincoln Memorial..

The World War 2 Memorial...

The White House behind Cherry Blossoms

The Capitol

Jon and Cole joined us for dinner... A perfect ending to a great day

Location:Washington, DC
