This year Kim and her husband Jim decided to replace the carpet in their cottage...when the carpet came up, they saw the wood floors and loved them. However, the floors were in bad shape...so Kim had them painted... Take a look....
Isn't it great? Kim is an interior designer and she is so brave with color...and so right on with her choices! Love it!
Kim and Jim's son Jon and my son Cole have been friends forever. Summers in Michigan, and then Cole followed Jon to Luther College where they were fraternity brothers. And now...they are roommates in Washington D.C.
Still having ALOT of fun. I love these Michigan friendships that last and last...for generations. The boys moved from Arlington to Glover Park yesterday... Take a peak at their darling new home...(cannot believe I am saying that my son's home is darling!!! But, it is!! )
