It has been a hot weekend at the lake...everyone has taken to the water....

Madeline's office/closet is taking shape. So I hit Target for some basics for them...guilt, you know.
Cole....riding out a tropical storm in the low country. He had shrimp and grits at High Cotton in Charleston last night...I am officially jealous.
And Maggie???


Also at the lake, with friends...no, she hasn't come to se her Mama. But I guarantee she will in 2 weeks when they return. I am babysitting for her children down here!!!

The weekend starts...

We are heading to the lake. Papa Joe was there last week, getting ready for the onslaught. And I must say, he is so excited!





He even power washed my chairs on the dock! That is my FAVORITE spot to read.


Lots of trimming accomplished. He came home to rest, but...guess what!?? No rest...
Back at the farm working on his new project....I call it "Lake Jozark"


And here is the start of the new 8 acre lake he is creating....I know! Papa Joe does NOTHING small.
