A New York weekend

ForChristmas, Papa Joe outdid himself....a weekend in New York at the Waldorf Astoria...huge. But wait, there is more....try Barry Manilow on Broadway!!! Yes, I am a 40 year Fanilow and tonight, I get to see him, the wonderful Barry on Broadway!!!

Yes, the Waldorf!
Off and running, upon arrival we hit 57th Street and 5th Avenue...and who do we see? One other than Dorian! Rarely see him at home!

Working away here...we toured his showroom...

These lovely young girls, and they truly are, are crazy. They were camped out Thursday night trying to get in to see SNL. As in SATURDAY.....and this is Thursday...so 2 nights and 3 days in 28 degree weather....air mattresses, sleeping bags...the works. They were first in line...they love this weeks host..Jennifer Lawrence. I walked by again Friday night, still there. Like I said, crazy. And young...

I think I would rather ice skate...and sleep inside...at the Waldorf...where they have

Where they have great chandeliers...

And great views of the sunrise....
But we are typical tourists....

The Today Show...hello Willie, Savannah and Al. I do love Willie Geist!

And hello Mike Barnacle....

And hello Tom! Our dear friend...and Hello Eataly...

Papa Joe in Seafood Heaven...

Not for me thank you very much! But Eately is truly divine...

Back to being a tourist....and Papa Joe thought I was an obnoxious photographer...

This guy wins...

Gearing up for a night on Broadway...

Nice Work...with the one and only Matthew Broderick...also the amazing Blythe Danner....it was great...but wait....did you see the man...Barry....tonight!!!!!

Other Times Square tourists...the Smurfs....and Papa Joe made a new friend...

A NYC lady cop. It truly is the city that never sleeps...but we do!

Location:Lexington Ave,New York,United States
