My friend Penny spent a wonderful week in Michigan...

Sweet Sarah ran her first half marathon....and her mama made her this amazing dessert. Business and pleasure made for a wonderful, sun soaked week!

A weekend with my girls

Because I am one year older, my girls took me to St. Louis for the weekend....


We shopped....


And shopped...


Do I look like an intellect? Sitting in J Crew reading Henry James? Ok, truth is, this is my cute new IPad case...so I look smart, like I am reading a major piece of literature when in actuality I am probably looking at my farm game...


This was Maggie's first time away from baby Tal...but she still had to pump....


And pump....


Dinner was great....


My girls looked so pretty,


The sushi was awesome....


And the Fox theatre was fabulous!!

I am older....

This impressive food bowl was the main attraction at Cole and Jon's for their Super Bowl party. I am not sure you can grasp the size of this thing...but look at the "playing field" it is a 9x13" pan. Their friend Loic made it. Loic is French and loves America. Well done Loic! I agree, put a copy of this in your Naturalization file!


And, yes, she is precious, but really? Who gives their daughter the first name of Pistol???


Finley's breakfast of Champions, a lot of sausage,orange and banana slices. When I cooked the sausage for her, she hugged me and told me that I was "the best grandma ever."! Ok, what ever she wants.....for the rest of her life...


Sally helped me celebrate my birthday in a big way!
