A few remaining memories of last weekend....

Jake and Maggie M pulled Jon on the tube, and nearly killed him.

Amazingly he was still smiling.

This cat tormented Harry and Scout, and gave Papa Joe and I a great laugh!

Another great sunset at the lake...and then...the boys had fun with their fireworks..

Welcome to a new week, with a DRY, SUNNY start!

This guy was just hanging out at the Y. I mean, it is always a great day at the Y. So, of course he wants to be there!

Getting the color on the logo out front, finally.
It was a stormy week...Gracie pulled her bed under the bottom shelf of my closet...storm fright.

While her family enjoyed Key West...

Papa Joe and I drove to the lake ...in this...

Yes, more rain, and you know what? We thought we were crazy. Which, in a way, we are. So, nothing new there. But.....things turned around quickly....

See my yard man down there by the arbor? He does good work. Need a good yard man? Call 1-800-PAPAJOE.

Yes, now we know why we drove through the rain and wind....

The neighborhood from the boat

We went by to say hi to Shelley....she came out and waved!

Lunch at the beach...Frankie and Louie's. Made me start dreaming of the Michigan beach!

More beach tattoo's. Is it a fish?

Meanwhile, Cole moved bedrooms...he now has a room with a view...well, a window.

So proud! My godson, Scott Keaton has moved in with Cole and Jon for the summer. What a trio....batten down the hatches!

Madeline and Jake are enjoying our old patio table and chairs. We can't wait to go eat there! Hint, hint, HINT!
Do not tell Finley, but here is part of her birthday gift....

Yep, she needs a Nantucket bike basket also.

Meanwhile, back at the farm, the kids were cruising. Through the garden...

Over flower beds, dogs, anything in their way. But hey, they were having fun!

Saturday night, we had a table with a great view. A great way to end the evening!!

  1. A couple of things:

What the heck happened to Jon at the Ozarks? How did he almost die?!

Good call on Cole switching rooms.

Your grandchildren driving their respective Power Wheels is the CUTEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN.

  2. Hey Laura! The cutest picture ever is Dan carrying you in to your new home! I LOVE it!
As for Jon, they were tubing and somehow when he was thrown the rope got tangled around his neck...(go figure that one out) and he had one heck of a rope burn!
and thanks, my grandchildren are pretty fun!
