Well, Jacksonville had a visitor...
And Madeline and I made fabric blinds for The View
I couldn't stand it anymore....my girl needed curtains
Annie and Lucy started High School tennis...
Here they are with Hannah.
I went to
To see the progress on Lake Jozark...well folks, it is almost done! Just bring on the rain...
You really cannot grasp the enormity of this lake from photos...
The dam is on the left..I call it The Damn Raymond Howard...because Raymond and crew did the work....and it was ALOT of work, therefore a huge bill, therefore the name. And yes, Raymond does know I named the dam after him! Cannot say is happy about it!
Like I said, bring on the rain...Papa Joe and Jack think jet ski's would be pretty nice out here....
They left Vinnie's deer stand intact. What does he use the bucker of I wonder?
The next project....for Papa Joe....a new patio with a stone fireplace on the backside of the "shed"
The French doors will be here...
Some of the stone Papa Joe has harvested out of Lake Jozark....
They will be used for the fireplace
Shingle choices for the roof of the covered patio
So here's the before....just wait until you see the after!
The view from the new patio, overlooking the small pond...just think canoe races at the fish fry!
Looking the other directions...
Papa Joe's new diesel tank...kind of cute!as far as tanks go that is.
Papa Joe is primed and ready for the fish fry...
The lights are ready to go up....yep, my Papa Joe is organized.
Disc golf course ready and waiting....bring on October! just bring on some rain first!
My next stop was Harmy's man cave... It is filled with 3 generations of Deal men tools
Do you think my favorite brother in law is organized???
Oh yea...as fas as woodworking, you need it..he has it!
For those dark evenings in the man cave!!
Harmy's Uncle Don made the windmill....we don't question, just admire! A three legged woman!
It is the cleanest workshop I have ever seen!
The "office". I love this workshop! As do my children, all of them, have at one time or another have made special projects in here...and I have quite often been the beneficiary of their labors. Love it!
Madeline went to Indianapolis for the wedding of a college friend...
Marguerite was a beautiful bride. Not so sure what is going on with the pretty blonde and that smile....
Oops! I guess that is just the way she smiles! Front and center is sweet Taylor...she spends Easter with us annually....the girls all clean up well!
Next week...back to my favorite place on earth ...Michigan. Maggie, Cole and Finley are all in a wedding there....and I will have all three of my children, son in law, sin in law and grandchildren under one roof....I could not ask for more.
Have a great week!
