Summer!

Lovely photo? Well, yes it is!!! It is the start of the repair of my front steps....no longer do my steps resemble Pompeii!

My town hosted it's annual celebration. The day begin with a parade..
And since Jacksonville is the home of the Big Eli Ferris Wheel....what else would we have in a parade...but a Ferris Wheel....

Oh and a drum line...

Yes, and tractors....we are a farming community after all. Yes, I proudly reside in a Flyover state! And my favorite son in law is an American Farmer. Quite proud of him, and thankful for all he does! And, by the way, that is NOT Adam. He was working the land....

Yes, and horses.

Then we hit the Wellness Tent where the Y hosted 2 hours of fitness classes. Angie and Finley had a great time

Finley did not want Angie to be alone on the stage, so she joined her...constantly.

So she was a bit behind in her postures....but she did it all. Spoken like the proud grandmother that I am!

Annie and Henry on the train. God love Annie...she waited in line with Henry for 2 hours. She was my favorite person of the day!!

Aunt Millie...the statue

Crazy, insane. I could hardly watch.

The Hadden family won the Hamburger cook off!

Lucy, Hannah and Annie watching the evening unfold.

A fun evening at Harmy's office

My friends Larry and Nancy in their new boat at their new condo at the Lake!

Troy and Sally at the petting zoo. The camel and Sally....instant friends...

Sweet Tal got tubes in his ears and a stylin new hat

Mad went to Indianapolis to visit Ole Miss friendsfor a Crawfish boil

Andy and Cole...never have any fun...

The next weekend, my boy celebrated Memorial Day at another beach...our favorite beach...Michigan. Here he is with cute Kate

Sunsets like no other

Cole and Kate on our porch, with lemonade I am certain...

They hosted a cookout. I am not so silly as to assume that Cole set the table...we all know who helped him...still, a proud Mama moment. Hopefully I will still be proud when I arrive at the cottage on WEDNESDAY!!!

He even made breakfast! Ok, I will remember this...July 4, breakfast for Mama

My favorites visiting me at work

Sooooo true!

Lucy's final soccer game of the year...so proud

Hurrying to finish paving the Y road before the rains start

The rain did not affect the carpet removal and installation at the Y

Baby pine ones in the making....I have never seen them at this stage before...aren't they cute??? Just a reminder to stop and look around everyday!!!

All I can say is...really???? Poor arteries!

Cutest window display, as usual, downtown Jacksonville!!

Again...WEDNESDAY!!!

My friend Trudy got away to South Carolina and thought of us when she saw this

Kayla and Mad after a day at the winery...cute girls. I can say that even if I gave birth to one of them!!

A fun day for the girls..

See, I am so motivational! Right???

Family games on the court...no, baseball, not tennis silly

Sally and Sam swinging

Visiting our gal....
