Fall..again

It has been a gorgeous fall...

These leaves graced the steps of the library last week...

Yesterday on my walk

It's truly beautiful

And in DC...it is also beautiful!!

This is Cole's favorite tree on his street

He was feeling so full of fall that he made chili. My son. Made food. My son. Wow.

Try this chicken...trust me. It's good. It is Jamey's recipe.

Harmy and Finley hung my flag..."Amerin" according to Finley. House proud.

Annie hit South Beach to visit Avery. It was a great trip if this photo is any reflection!

Maggie worked on my adorable pillows for my new home. LOVE them!

See the trees in the Deal's new yard??? 6 years ago they were just starts in my yard on Finley Street.... Harmy transplanted them and nursed them... And the tree service moved them and just look at them now...amazing!! Now that is a fun memory!!

Jamey joined us for lunch in St. Louis for Madeline's birthday...

My adorable guest room....trust me, it is cute,

Angie fed baby Tal in my office post yoga...

I cleaned Maggie's pantry....I love to clean and organize. Yes. A sickness.

A tribute to all Veterans in downtown Jacksonville. A heartfelt thank you to them all for our freedom.

Ok...TERRIBLE typo in last post...DUCK Dynasty....so so so sorry

- Posted using BlogPress from my iPad

Halloween and a birthday

What does one do on a sunny fll dy.

Go to Virginia and antique! Jake, mad! Fin, Marilyn and I did just that,

Here is Fin with the old mail cart I purchased. It now resides in my hallway home to my linens.

I want this flag for Cole's room. I really do. I do! Really!

I lost ky girl, and found her inside this locker. Imagine being able to fit inside...

We then hit the pumpkin Fest downtown Jacksonville.

We did arts and crafts.Yes, I can be helpful

Halloween....no, not Katie Perry. Holly GoLightly and da bears main man.

We have always told Millie that she has a pin head. Well, here she is in Henry's helmet. He is 2. She is, well, not 2.

Baby Tal decked out in his Halloween finery

Oh yes, hello.

It has been a beautiful fall...

Mad turned 24. So, now you know I'm not in my 20's, 30's or 40's....dang. I am older than I have ever been,

Lots of help blowing out her candles...

Yes, this is a fuck Dynasty shirt....courtesy of Madeline.

Jake had the firepit burning...magical

Fin and her s'more...now that is magical

Harmy brought his cannon. Now THAT is magical

And LOUD

And extremely popular

Time with baby Tal

I moved. First dinner in my new home. Thanks to Jamey for the delicious food! All the way from St. Louis,

The dining room survived

A view of my living room...ok, so I need furniture...but it is cozy!!!

The before of. Y garage...a new driveway and garage are coming...in a few days!
Happy November!!!

Fun in the fall

Yes, I am still rather obsessed with baby Tal...

And so is my sweet friend Laurie...

Lucy and Finley formed a band! and luckily disbanded in a matter of moments...

Harmy cleaned out his basement and we helped him put this old trash burner on the curb. Yes, that is a FREE sign on it. This thing was a beast....it weighed a million tons. Ok, so not quite...but close! And guess what? Gone...in less than an hour! People like free.

Work has begun on Millie and Harmy's garage addition...

Finley spent the weekend...well, most of it. Saturday night, at 9:30 she decided it was time to go home. You do not argue with a tired 4 year old. You merely take her home. And then, when you do go to sleep, you SLEEP.

Julie and Christine were Pan Am stewardesses for Halloween. Julie made the costumes out of sweatshirts. Yep, impressive.

Millie made Jamey's pumpkin chili. I know, sounds gross. But trust me, DELICIOUS. Harmy is ready to take it out on the road and start winning competitions!

I am hosting Wednesday Class today at Millie's. Will be spooktacular!

I had a chandelier cleaning session..my how they sparkle and shine!

On my walk I found what I believe to be DIEHARD Illini fans. I mean, wow. Really? Your roof?

My sisters and I went to the State Capitol to be present when a resolution was read in memory of our Dad.

Mike was working..

This state Representative had a smashed witch on her back...on the House floor....while in session...really????

The Capitol looks beautiful after the renovation...it was a wonderful occasion.
Happy Halloween! Finley thinks she is dressing up as Katy Perry. she's not.
